I almost didn’t post this.

Not because the recipe isn’t good.
Not because it didn’t turn out beautifully.
Not because my family didn’t love it.

But because sometimes, after putting your heart into something over and over again, the silence gets loud.

Cooking is more than just food for me. Every recipe I share carries time, effort, planning, testing, tasting, adjusting, and often a memory attached to it. It’s standing in the kitchen when everyone else is resting. It’s washing dishes twice. It’s taking photos when the food is already getting cold. It’s writing captions when I could be doing something easier.
