WE ADOPTED A CHILD NO ONE ELSE WANTED

It is a commitment to walk into someone else’s pain and stay.

It is choosing to be the adult who doesn’t leave.
The adult who absorbs anger without returning it.
The adult who keeps showing up.

And it changes you.

To the Children Still Waiting

If you are a child who feels unwanted—who has been passed over, labeled, delayed—I wish I could tell you this in person:

You are not too much.
You are not unlovable.
You are not invisible.

The fact that others couldn’t see you does not define your worth.

To the Families Who Are Afraid

Fear is understandable.

But if you’re waiting for a child without complications, without scars, without history—you may be waiting forever.

All children come with stories.
Some are just harder to ignore.
